Attune Studio features piano lessons taught by Jennifer Fischer. She has being playing the piano herself for over 35 years and has been teaching lessons privately for more than 10. Her studio takes an individualized approach; Jennifer adjusts her teaching style to meet the needs of each student. She understands the power and value of music and believes that students benefit a great deal from the focus, joy and fun that comes from learning to play an instrument.
Jennifer Fischer has been teaching piano privately in the area since 2005. She holds an M.A. from Harvard University in Middle Eastern Studies; her thesis, "Songs of Palestine," included a documentary short film on the topic that she directed and produced. At Harvard, she played the harpsichord as a member of an early music chamber ensemble.
Jennifer received her BA from Sarah Lawrence College where she studied music with Carsten Schmidt. Prior to that, she studied with Caroline True at Trinity University and Kent Cook at DePauw University where she received a music scholarship.
